Lantower Techridge Apartments

Update: I still haven’t got my deposit back,since I moved out until now already 2 months.I went there and they said they’ll gonna call me back, but they didn’t! I keep calling them every week,they told me same they’re gonna call me back, until now I didn’t get a call yet!! My husband in the army now, we're moving to another country soon, pls pay my money back!! I'm a resident here before,please don't move in. First,when we moved in, they didn't tell us that our neighbor had mental issues, He was banging on walls and yelling every night, so we couldn't sleep until a month later and he shot at our bathroom,the nightmare was over!we have a 2 years old ,they knew that but they still rented the apartment to us! And then when we moved out, I cleaned the apartment but they still charged us for cleaning fee! Finally, I still haven't received my check, so I contacted their financial team, they gave me a ticket number and said they would contact me in two days, but they didn't, they closed the request! So I have to go to the office tomorrow and ask them what's going on！ Oh, I almost forgot to mention the cockroaches. It's a nightmare! Imagine you're with thousands of cockroaches every day！！

I have been living here for a month. I haven’t had any concerns. The location is convenient. I don’t have to go into the office for anything really. If I ever do go in, my questions are answered. Maintence team is quick and nice. The one thing I wish they did was switch the light bulbs out when needed but they don’t, that’s on the tenant. Not a deal breaker for me though. Overall, nice place in the Austin area.

I moved in right around the time of the management switch & the new management has streamlined everything compared to how it was before. They've made quality of life upgrades & even changed out the locks on the pool as no one from previous management saved the code so they had one to give to residents. Front office staff is friendly & attentive to issues, I've never once had any concerns waved off. Selena has helped me with specifics for maintenance multiple times. Maintenance requests are handled swiftly & with seriousness. Tinnieh, the community manager, even came out to my apartment personally with maintenance to address an issue I'd been repeatedly having the same day it was brought to her attention.

I have been a resident here for 3 years and have seen so many different things occur. First is the maintenance staff, there are so many times that I have put in a request AND still have the issue not resolved. My dishwasher is still not working but maintenance states “it’s fixed”. After awhile you just tired of going back and forth and just give up on having someone come fix your requested issues. **BEWARE OF TOWING!!** Back in November of 2023 (last month) my car was towed twice. Again, I have been living here for 3 years and have never been towed. Please make sure you and your guest have your vehicles in the portal. I have call the towing company to request a reimbursement but they still have not responded ($275). Do not park in carpools or reserved spots…they will tow you. If your car is not in the portal….they will tow you! I just feel we pay way too much for a small apartment, noisy neighbors that are upstairs (I swear they are professional river dancers or with WWE), dog poop and smell outside, and unreliable maintenance workers. Oh, and they put a small backyard for the people who live on the first floor….I hope I don’t get charged for that because I never agreed to have that done. With that being said….just buy a house. More room/space, no towing, and you have your peace and quiet.

Anyone moving out please make sure you take tons of pictures and videos. It seems they are renovating this property and want to charge it out of people's security deposit. Been back and forth with the financial team asking for proof as to why im being charged for the replacement of the carpet and was told it was too stained. My move in list had explicitly stated paint stains in the carpet when I moved in and I been offering to show the video taken as I was leaving the apartment for the last time its been a week and haven't heard back from anyone. Mind you, the apartment was cleaned by someone that specializes in move out cleaning, and I have video proof of the conditions I left the apartment. Still nothing
